Every 5th and 6th grader deserves the opportunity to experience new adventures, connect to supportive role models and build positive friendships.
On weeks 2, 4, 6 and 8, groups go on an extended-day Friday field trip, included in tuition. They’ll be able to develop new skills and build confidence in activities like pool trips, high ropes and field trips while our staff create an environment where campers can be free to focus on having the best time of their lives.

Program Description
Our HIGH ADVENTURE program at Camp Sonshine Silver Spring (SS) provides a balance of structured activity time with relational group time to help campers build confidence, friendships, and independence. Our trained staff create an environment where campers can be themselves, hang out with friends, and interact with caring role models!
