Our Grounds
Silver Spring Camp
Our Silver Spring grounds are nestled on 25 acres of wooded land and open fields in the suburbs right outside of Washington, D.C. This location has been serving families for over 40 years. With an average of over 1,800 campers annually, our Silver Spring location is our largest (and oldest) campsite in Maryland. We are approximately ½ mile north of route 198 and 2 miles south of route 108 on New Hampshire Ave.
Germantown Camp
Founded in 1992, Camp Sonshine Germantown (GT) is centrally located to best serve the surrounding areas of Germantown. This includes: Boyds, Gaithersburg, Clarksburg, Damascus and the like. Because of its location and size, Camp Sonshine GT has had the unique opportunity to get connected and integrated into the local communities. This allows for a close-knit, community feel for our campers.
