Meet Our Executive Director
Josiah Black
As the son of founder David Black, Josiah stepped into the role of Executive Director in fall 2021. Having completed the full journey of a camper through each age group before becoming an Assistant Counselor at age 15. He is driven by a passion to share the life-changing experiences he grew up with. Under his leadership, the camp continues its mission ACA accredited Christian day camp to provide a fun, faith-filled environment where children and staff experience love, fun, and community.

Internship Program
Get involved with Camp Sonshine through our Full-Year Internship Program! Participants actively acquire skills such as leadership and management. Additionally, interns engage in every facet of Camp Sonshine. Therefore, our interns are crucial to our success each summer!
