BUS SERVICE
Our Bus Transportation services are only offered to our Silver Spring location. We offer over 15 bus stop locations throughout Howard, Montgomery, PG counties, and Washington D.C. Our goal is to provide convenient transportation options to make it easier for families to send their child(ren) to camp.

*Please Note: We do not prorate transportation for 2 or more days. If you plan to utilize either Bus or Extended Care Services for more than one day per week, you will automatically be charged the weekly rate.

How to Enroll:
- Register online or log in into your account
- You MUST contact Parent Services via email to enroll your camper(s) in bus transportation. Simply state the bus and stop you would prefer, which weeks, and for which times.
Dash Passes are required for buses.
Our Camp Sonshine issued Dash Pass must be displayed on your windshield or handed to the counselor upon pickup. The Dash Pass will be sent in the pre-week email. If there are any changes to who will be picking up their child from the bus stop please let Parent Services know.
Buses may arrive up to 10 minutes before or after the estimated time due to traffic, weather, and other circumstances beyond our control. Therefore, we recommend arriving at the bus stop at least 15 minutes prior to departure or arrival time. Buses leave the stops immediately at the time below. If you are running late, please either move on to the next stop on your child’s bus stop route or plan to drive your child to camp. We are unable to delay the bus route as it interferes with the camp day, thank you!
