Camp gave me every opportunity to spend time doing the things I love- to serve, to listen, to grow, to teach and to love. I will never forget how it felt to experience the true bond and connection with the children. Every morning I waited in anticipation for what the day would hold, yes there were nerves but seeing the children’s beautiful faces light up as they ran with open arms to give you a hug and feeling their sense of enjoyment as they looked forward to what their day may bring diminished any worries that I had and gave me every confidence that the Lord had me there for a purpose. If I could describe my experience at camp Sonshine it would simply be a blessing. Camp allows you to grow in such a safe, loving and caring environment. You get to inspire people daily whilst also being inspired yourself. The best thing about Camp was being with your group of kids all day pouring love, wisdom, and encouragement into them and making sure that they know how much God loves them. I would recommend Camp Sonshine to anyone because it will provide you with friends you never knew you needed, it’ll teach you how to love more than you thought was possible, and all the memories you make will last a lifetime. – Azaria

It was an honor to be part of a summer camp, and I didn’t expect that it would make an impact on my life. It feels so good to help and inspire people whom you’ve just met. I didn’t even see it coming that these people will also bring light to my life. Sharing my experiences with them in a simple way, for sure they will nourish it and will use it in their daily lives. This experience – it taught me a lot, to be patient, to improve my leadership skill and to be more aware of what people feel, especially from people whom you just met.I would like to recommend you to work at camp sonshine because they will teach you a lot of things, allow you to learn and develop some skills. You will meet a lot of people from different countries and eventually they will become your friends. And the best part is they will help you to get closer to GOD. – Peter
