Frequently Asked Questions

In addition to our extensive interview process, we also require all of our staff to be fingerprinted and to go through a background check to ensure the safety of your child. On top of those procedures in the hiring and onboarding process, we also require at least 3 weeks of training for our leadership staff and at least a week of hands-on training for our camp counselors.

We believe that staff are the key to an amazing experience for our campers. Our overall staff to camper ratio is 1:4. The max group ratio for the older campers is 1:12 and 1:9 for the younger campers. The other staff members responsibility is to ensure that our campers are safe and our group counselors are supported. Younger age groups will often have a Leader In Training or an Assistant Counselor helping the group throughout the day as well!

We carefully choose all of our staff to be role models that will leave a positive impact on your child. Each week we have a Word of the Week, such as compassion, forgiveness, or patience, that we incorporate in our activities/conversations to represent a key value from the Bible. We believe this helps children be successful in growing up and flourishing!
