We are really excited to announce our new Homework Helper Program! During this season of social distancing, we are aware of the difficulties that can arise for parents with their children being at home all day, every day. As an organization that specializes in creating awesome experiences for kids, and because we have been doing it for over 35 years, we know it can be difficult to keep your children entertained and engaged throughout the day. Camp Sonshine Homework Helper is a great way for your kids to stay connected to Camp Sonshine while also getting the engagement, fun interaction, and structure they need to stay focused while being away from school.
Camp Sonshine Homework Helper is primarily focused on keeping your children engaged and focused so they can finish their homework. All of our staff that will be involved in this service are the counselors that ran our SHINE Before and Afterschool program. Most of our staff are not licensed educators and do not have the same skill-sets as your child’s teachers. Please note this is homework assistance as opposed to educating/tutoring.
What To Expect:
- Our staff will meet with your children through Google Meet to help keep them focused and connected while completing their school work.
- Flexible Scheduling: Monday-Friday between 9AM and 7PM
- Available to K-8th Grade
