Hey Camp Families!
As school starts back up and the weather cools down we would love to share a free and fun family event that everyone can enjoy.
The 32nd annual Burtonsville Day is happening Saturday, September 21st from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Marilyn J. Praisner Library & Community Recreation Center.
Bring your family and friends to enjoy a parade, food trucks, vendors, activities for children, live music, performances, and public services. The Parade will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am and all activities will follow after until 3:00 pm.
Camp Sonshine will have a booth at this event with FREE CAMP ACTIVITIES! Stop by to enjoy go karts, face painting, the discovery train, gaga ball, and more! We also have ample information about our SHINE After School Care Program and registration for Camp Sonshine Summer 2025. We are looking forward to this event and are hoping to see you and your campers there!
If driving, plan to arrive BEFORE the Old Columbia Pike Road Closure for the Parade at 9:30 am. You can find free parking at Banneker Middle School, Paint Branch Middle School, or local streets!
