Is SHINE open when Montgomery County Public Schools are closed?

Yes! SHINE is open from 6:30am-6:30 pm when MCPS closes, with the exception of federal holidays
and snow days when the federal government closes. During full days, SHINE goes on field trips from 10am-2:30 pm. Some previous trips have included, Port Discovery, Air and Space museum, The Smithsonian, and more!
