If two summer traditions seamlessly fit together, it’s Summer Camp and Independence Day!

Look no further, because today we’ve rounded up our favorite patriotic-themed activities so you can bring Summer Camp home this Independence Day!
Let’s start this list off with a bang, quite literally! Add a patriotic twist to this year-round activity by adding red, white, and blue food coloring to each bag!
Rock Candy is a delicious way for you and your family to engage in STEM this Independence Day! Parents can take charge of boiling the sugar-water mixture, while kids will enjoy dipping and rolling the skewers. One thing to keep in mind: this experiment takes between 6-7 days to fully crystallize, so be sure to either begin the process before July 4th or save the finished product for the week after!
